S. J. Accounting is a freelance QuickBooks Generalist. The Mission of S.J. Accounting is to assist small and new businesses to get a strong foot hold in one of the most important aspects of their business; their bookkeeping. We are interested in assisting you in solving all of your bookkeeping problems. Whether you are a shoebox business, just starting up or a suitcase business with less than five employees, we are interested in assisting you to make a profit out of chaos.
I am a math nerd, and enjoy the process of accounting. I make it easier and more profitable to handle your finances than doing it yourself. I provide properly designed financial reports to show you how your business is growing and what you can do to help it grow more. I am able to assist with mailing statements, balancing your check book every month, licensing, payroll and payroll taxes, and record keeping. I do not do Year End Income taxes, but I provide financial reports that will save you many dollars with your CPA.
I am a proadvisor in QuickBooks and will do all of your accounting for you or you can do all of it with training I provide to your personnel, or we can share it together. An adequate Accounting system can reduce over all business cost and put your personnel to work making you money instead of doing paperwork.
The average small business owner spends about 10 hours per month doing paper work. At your hourly service rate, possibly $50.00 per hour, this is $500.00 a month you spend on your own bookkeeping that your could be making money. Ten hours is about 20% of your work hours per month.
I am able to assist with collection of bad accounts from customers, harassing by your debt collectors, and helping with investing your profits.
I specialize in Planned communities, Home Owners Associations and Non-Profit Associations.
For HOA's, I am versed in short sales and collections.
For Non-profit, I am versed in Funds, their importance of separation for income and expense.
